How does the Live Preview work?

Before launching a sequence, you can check your camera's framing and improve it in real time.

Live preview requires that the phone on which the Tikee Remote application is downloaded, is connected to the Tikee mini +'s wifi. Your phone and the Tikee mini + must be close for them to be connected via Bluetooth.

Once your phone is connected to the Tikee mini +'s wifi, you can start framing in real time.

This feature is available exclusively on the Tikee mini +.

How do I launch a Live Preview from the Tikee Remote mobile application

Switch on your Tikee and connect via Bluetooth from the Tikee Remote mobile app.

Click on the Live Preview button on the Tikee page of the Tikee Remote mobile application. The following page will be displayed:



Copy the Tikee mini + wifi password and go to your phone's internet settings to connect your phone to the Tikee mini + wifi network, selecting the network and inserting the password you copied earlier.

Once your phone is connected to the Tikee mini + wifi network, go to your Tikee Remote application and wait for the connection to be confirmed, as shown in the following image:



Once the Internet connection has been confirmed, and the message “LiveView Status: Streaming” is displayed, click on the message “I'm connected to Tikee WiFi!”.



You will then be redirected to the Live Preview, enabling you to improve the framing of your camera in real time, as shown in the following video:

What to do if the Live Preview doesn't work on your Tikee?

Update Tikee
Make sure you've entered the right password to connect to the Tikee mini + wifi network
Check that you're not connected behind a VPN (Live Preview won't work in this case)
