Tikee's Connection Options
What are the connection options to your Tikee ?
You can connect to Tikee to:
Bluetooth:
You can connect to your Tikee via Bluetooth from the Tikee Remote mobile application. This allows you to access the camera and control certain functions.
You need to be next to your camera to connect.
4G LTE internet connection:
You can connect your Tikee to the internet using a SIM card and a subscription with the operator of your choice. This enables you to remotely access your Tikee, check its status, view images taken, create or modify shooting sequences, and synchronize your Tikee with Always On mode (only for Tikee 3 PRO, Tikee 3 PRO+, Tikee 4 and Tikee Mini models and only available with a SIM card that allows you to receive SMS).
WiFi internet connection:
You can also connect your Tikee to a WiFi network available at the installation site. This offers you the same possibilities as the 4G LTE connection.
What is the purpose of each connection option?
Bluetooth connection:
Allows you to control your Tikee from the Tikee Remote mobile app. You can search for nearby Tikees, connect to your specific Tikee and access camera features.

4G LTE internet connection:
The 4G LTE connection enables your Tikee to access the internet and connect to the myTikee cloud platform servers. This enables you to manage your Tikee remotely, view images taken, create or modify shooting sequences, and synchronize your Tikee with Always On mode (only for Tikee 3 PRO, Tikee 3 PRO+, Tikee 4 models and Tikee Mini models and only available with a SIM card that allows you to receive SMS).
WiFi internet connection:
The WiFi connection offers the same functionality as the 4G LTE connection. It allows your Tikee to connect to a WiFi network available at the installation site, which can be handy if you already have a WiFi network on site.
Always on is only available with an LTE connection and a SIM card that allows you to receive SMS.
Some networks with web portals are not compatible with Tikee.
