What are private links?

Private links are URLs that allow specific resources to be shared privately.

How do they work?

Private links are generated for each shareable resource, such as the photo gallery, the latest image, the timelapse video, the photo gallery in the Portfolios , the Control Room, and so on. These links can be shared with users, who can then access these specific resources. When you share a resource with a private link, this means that anyone with that link can access that specific resource. For example, if you share a private link to a photo gallery, anyone with that link will be able to open and view that photo gallery.

What resources can be shared via private links?

In the Points of View: View page, Photo gallery, Last image, Timelapse video, with myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited
In the Portfolios : View page, Photo Gallery, Control Room, with myTikee Reporting and myTikee Unlimited
Timelapse Builder exports, with myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited
IA Dashboard, with myTikee Reporting and myTikee Unlimited

How to use private link sharing?

To use private link sharing, you need to generate a private link for the resource you want to share, then send it to whoever you want.

Points of View:

Access the Points of View by clicking on it or on the blue Play button.
Click on the cogwheel at the top right of your project.
Activate private sharing by dragging the Private Links button to the right.
Choose the link you wish to share and make a selection.

Portfolios :

Access your Portfolios .
Click on the cogwheel at the top right of the image.
Activate private sharing by dragging the Private Links button to the right.
Then copy the link you wish to share.

Timelapse Builder exports:

After generating your enhanced Timelapse with Timelapse Builder, go to the "Exports" section .


Click on the video to open it.




You'll find a private link below the video.



Copy this link to share it.

AI Dashboard:

Access your IA Dashboard.
Click on the share icon in the top right-hand corner.




Activate private sharing by dragging the Private Links button to the right.




Copy the link you wish to share.

How do I cancel a private link share?

You can terminate access to existing private links and generate new ones. By deactivating a private link option, you can terminate private sharing. Once the links have been deactivated, they are no longer accessible.

The Update private links button lets you generate new links. The old ones will no longer be functional.

Point of view:

To cancel the private links you can:

Uncheck the private link option.







Then confirm by clicking OK.

Portfolios :

To cancel private links you can :

Uncheck the private link option




A message to confirm that you wish to deactivate the private link. It will stop working as soon as these links are revoked! Please reply with "OK".

Dashboard:

To disable the IA Dashboard private link option, please follow these steps:
Access the IA Dashboard.
Uncheck the "private links" option.

Timelapse Builder exports:

You can generate a new link to share your Timelapse Builder video.

Go to the Export you no longer wish to share.
Click on "Renew link".




A new sharing link is then available, the old one is no longer functional.
