How do I generate a flawless timelapse video?

From the myTikee cloud platform, the Timelapse Builder is specifically developed by Enlaps to help you create a professional-quality timelapse in just a few steps, benefiting from advanced image processing and algorithms for selecting the best photos.



You can create your video with the parameters below:

1. Mode

Auto : Let Timelapse Builder define the ideal settings for your video. You can always go back to each step and modify the options chosen automatically.
Available with myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.


Manuel : Control every aspect of your timelapse video yourself
Available with all subscriptions myTikee Reporting myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.

2. Image selection

Current Selection : The temporal filters and Artificial Intelligence filters configured on the Editing page from your perspective are considered for the generation of your timelapse video. Available with all subscriptions myTikee Reporting myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.

Smart Selection : The temporal filters configured on the Editing page from your perspective are considered for the generation of your timelapse video. Artificial Intelligence filters are not taken into account. Temporal coherence is maintained in your images
- Blue sky : Only images with clear skies are selected
- Grey sky : Only images with a cloudy sky are selected, recommended if the Tikee is installed facing the sun.
Available with myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.

3. Basic video enhancement

Advanced smoothing : Smooth transitions from one image to another: Three possible levels of intensity: light, medium, high

Pictures enhancement : Apply correction of image brightness, and contrast: Three possible levels of intensity: light, medium, high

Anti-flickering : Apply exposure correction to avoid flickering in your video

Available with all subscriptions myTikee Reporting myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.

4. Advanced video enhancement

Stabilization : This function reduces unwanted vibrations caused by slight movement during shooting.
Only available for panoramic images from a Tikee..

Pan & Zoom : Utilize the spherical Pan & Zoom, an innovative technology that simulates an immersive viewing experience. Configure it within the Pan & Zoom tile on the Perspective Editing page prior to initiating the Timelapse Builder

Only available for panoramic images from a Tikee camera. Classic Pan & Zoom (non-spherical) for right/left images from the Tikee or for images from another camera.

If you activate Pan & Zoom, your export will be in FHD resolution.

Relighting : Using an approach based on deep learning, It effectively reduces blind spots to maintain the lighting consistency of your photos, regardless of weather conditions.
Available with myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.

5. Extras

Watermark : Apply a watermark to the bottom left-hand corner of your video. Upload the image to the Extras tile on the Edit Viewpoint page.

Add the Date : Add the date on which images were taken to the bottom right-hand corner of the video.
Three possible formats: month - year / day - month - year / hour - day - month - year.

Available with myTikee Storytelling and myTikee Unlimited.

6. Export

Target Duration : Duration of your timelapse video to download.




Video name : Export name



Export resolution: Full HD, 4K or Original (6K).

Export format: H264 or H265.


Generating the video takes a few minutes (one hour maximum). A download link will be sent to you in a notification on myTikee and by e-mail when the video is ready.
You can also share your timelapse video directly from your Exports on myTikee.

How to generate a timelapse video with the Timelapse Builder?

On your Viewpoint Edit page, in the Extra panel, click on the Timelapse Builder button.



Choose the Manual timelapse mode settings to apply to your video, or let Auto mode determine the ideal settings for your video.



Choose a name to your export.



Click on "Generate" to start creating your timelapse video. A download link will be sent to you in a notification on myTikee and by e-mail when it's ready.

What if you don't have access to the Timelapse Builder or certain settings?

If you have just generated a timelapse with Timelapse Builder, you won't be able to create a new export on the same viewpoint during the generation of your timelapse video.
Please make sure that Storytelling, Reporting or Unlimited are activated on your myTikee account.
