How does Always On mode work?

Available only with Tikee 3 PRO, Tikee 3 PRO+, Tikee 4, Tikee 4X, Tikee mini, Tikee mini + and Tikee mini S, this feature allows you to wake up your Tikee at any time from the cloud platform.

Always On mode allows you to perform different actions:

• Synchronize with the myTikee cloud platform at any time to send its status and pending images, as well as retrieve new settings configured from myTikee.
• Take a Photo Snapshot (4260x1534 pixels) and send it to myTikee.
• Remotely update the software of your Tikee camera (versions 5.2 and later).

Only available on Tikee 3PRO+, Tikee 4, Tikee 4X, Tikee Mini, Tikee mini + and Tikee mini S

• Take a 20-second Video Snapshot (Full HD - 1920x1080 pixels) with one of the 2 lenses of the Tikee 3PRO+, Tikee 4 and Tikee 4X, or with the lens of the Tikee mini, Tikee mini + and Tikee mini S, and send it to myTikee.
• Start a Live Streaming Video (Full HD - 1920x1080 pixels) for 60 seconds with one of the 2 lenses of the Tikee 3PRO+ and Tikee 4, or with the lens of the Tikee Mini and Tikee mini + from myTikee (versions 5.3 or later) - Available with myTikee Monitor and myTikee Enterprise.
• For Tikee 4X and Tikee mini S, Live Streaming Video is no longer limited to 60 seconds. After approximately 45 seconds, you will receive a notification asking whether you want to continue the Live Streaming.

To use this feature, there are a few prerequisites:

• A valid LTE connection
• A SIM card that supports SMS reception (this requirement does not apply to Tikee 4X and Tikee mini S)
• The SIM card phone number must be entered in the mobile application or on the cloud platform.
• Triggering is only available when the Tikee is in active mode and no connection is currently in progress.
• The number of available triggers must be sufficient (synchronization is limited to 60 connections / month for Tikee 3 PRO, Tikee 3 PRO+, Tikee 4, Tikee mini and Tikee mini +).
• For Tikee 4X and Tikee mini S, there is no longer any synchronization limit.

How to activate Always On mode from the Tikee Remote mobile application?

1. Turn on your Tikee and connect via Bluetooth from Tikee Remote.

If your Tikee's battery level is below 50%, plug it into a power source.

2. Perform a 4G connection test (4G or WiFi) to make sure your Tikee is connected to the Internet.
3. Once the connection test is complete and successful, return to the Tikee page and click on “Advanced".

4. Then go to "Always On".

5. Enter the phone number of your SIM card (including the country code, for example: +33 4 58 00 57 30 for France) and activate the feature.
6. Return to the Tikee page and click on the Play button.

"Always On" mode is activated and your Tikee is ready to be woken up remotely.

How to activate Always On mode from myTikee?

To activate this feature on your Tikee 3 PRO, Tikee 3 PRO+, Tikee 4, Tikee 4X, Tikee Mini, Tikee mini + or Tikee mini S, please make sure your camera is active and connected to the Internet.

1. Select "My Tikees" from the left-hand menu and click on your camera's serial number.
2. Go to "Configure camera" and then "Always On".
3. Enter the phone number of your SIM card (including the country code, for example: +33 4 58 00 57 30 for France) to activate the feature.
4. Click on "Validate".

Always On mode is activated and your camera will take this setting into account during its next connection. After its next connection, you will be able to wake up your Tikee remotely.

How to synchronize your Tikee with Always On mode?

1. Log in to your account on myTikee.
2. Select "My Tikees" from the left-hand menu and click on your Tikee's serial number.
3. To contact your Tikee, click on "Always On", then select "Sync" and click on "Validate".

Your Tikee will connect to myTikee within a few minutes and you will see the date of the last connection update. All images on the SD card that are waiting to be sent will be uploaded by the Tikee. If you updated your sequence settings before synchronization, your Tikee will retrieve this new information and apply it.

How to take a Photo Snapshot with Always On mode?

1. Log in to your account on myTikee
2. Select "My Tikees" from the left-hand menu and click on your camera's serial number.
3. To contact your Tikee, click on "Always On", then select "Photo Snapshot" and click on "Validate".

Your Tikee will take a photo and upload it to myTikee within the next few minutes. You will be able to view or download your photo for 30 minutes.

How to take a Video Snapshot with Always On mode?

1. Log in to your account on myTikee
2. Select "My Tikees" from the left-hand menu and click on your camera's serial number.
3. To contact your Tikee, click on "Always On", then select "Video Snapshot" and click on "Validate".

Your Tikee will record a 20-second video and upload it to myTikee within the next few minutes. You will be able to view or download your video for 30 minutes.

How to update your Tikee remotely?

1. Log in to your account on myTikee
2. Select "My Tikees" from the left-hand menu and click on your camera's serial number.
3. To contact your Tikee, click on "Always On", then select "Upgrade firmware" and click on "Validate".

Your Tikee will connect to myTikee to download the latest firmware version within the next few minutes. It will then install the new software and reconnect to the platform. It takes a few minutes for your Tikee to be fully updated.

What should I do if the "Always On" button is not available on myTikee?

Please make sure that:

1. your Tikee model is a Tikee 3 PRO, Tikee 3 PRO+, Tikee 4, Tikee 4X, Tikee Mini, Tikee mini + or Tikee mini S (this feature is not available on other models)
2. your Tikee is connected with a SIM card (Always On mode will not work if your Tikee is connected via WiFi)
3. you have correctly activated the Always On feature using the mobile application
4. shooting is active
